By day, Nicole is a PhD student studying urban ecology in Montréal. By night/when there are no impending research deadlines, she makes crochet animals for stress relief and sells them on Etsy for grocery funds because graduate students generally aren’t paid very well. She also makes biodiversity illustrations and infographics for scientific communication at conferences or to the public.
