Eunike Nugroho is a botanical artist, tutor, and the founder of the Indonesian Society of Botanical Artists (IDSBA). Her accolades include the RHS Best Botanical Artwork and Gold Medal (2023), TABA Gold Medals (2022, 2024), and SBA Botanical Merit (2021). Recognised as an International Arts Leader by the Australia Council for the Arts, her works are held in prestigious collections including the Hunt Institute (USA), State Botanical Collection of Victoria (Australia), Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Florilegium (UK), RHS Lindley Library (UK), and Shirley Sherwood Collection (UK). Exhibiting globally, she shares nature’s marvels and plant beauty through her art.

這種最早於19世紀展出、極度瀕危的Paphiopedilum fairrieanum蘭花以
英國蘭花愛好者R. Fairrie的名字命名。因為在1904年，Frederick Sander為了重新發現這種蘭花而提供了一筆豐厚獎金，故它獲稱「值一千英鎊的
蘭花」。它的白色大背萼片上有著鮮明的紫色條紋，形態優美如仙子，令人聯想起夢幻的維多利亞時代淑女。
The critically endangered Paphiopedilum fairrieanum was named after English Orchid Enthusiast R. Fairrie, first exhibited in the 1800s. Also known as the 1000-Pound Orchid, Frederick Sander offered this reward for its rediscovery in 1904. Recognisable by its distinctive large white and boldly purple striped dorsal sepal, it captivates with its elegance, reminiscent of dreamy Victorian-dressed ladies, evoking a fairy-like beauty.

Paphiopedilum sanderianum是分布於婆羅洲西北部獨有的極度瀕危物種，
其花瓣超過1米，被譽為「擁有最美妙的奇異結構之花朵」，並有「婆羅州之后」美稱。
Endemic to northwestern Borneo, the critically endangered Paphiopedilum sanderianum boasts petals exceeding one meter, hailed as “the most wonderful flower in an order where wonderful structures are the rule” and often dubbed the ‘Queen of Paphs’.

Borneo’s Hoya sigillatis: a small climber with enchanting dappled foliage. Sun stress evokes purple-burgundy hues with a silver “splash.” The artwork was awarded a Gold Medal at the RHS Botanical Art Show 2023 at the Saatchi Gallery, London.

Hoya spartioides, a rare and unusual leafless plant endemic to Borneo, thrives using modified peduncles for photosynthesis, adapting to nutrient-poor environments. Its flowers emit a captivating fragrance, blooming at night for just one night.
